From idea to the best coworking space in the country

Tershouse is the largest coworking space in Bosnia and Herzegovina that gathers IT professionals, freelancers, designers, marketers, students, and companies of various profiles in one place. 

With the mission of creating an ideal business environment for all companies and individuals who will achieve many benefits through their work in the tershouse coworking space, I was tasked to design and lead this coworking space along with the founder into a sales and business growth model to become the best coworking space in the country.

After the first insights into the business model and coworking services, I figured out the key points to business growth and success. This helped me to write a comprehensive business plan with sales and marketing activities to saturate the market and push innovation in a segment that was proving to be rather stationary up to the point.

The following activities showed the success of my approach:

  • With the social media advertising campaigns, we gave a push into the brand awareness segment that brought us desired visibility in the market
  • redecorated the whole place to make it more comfortable and effective for our coworkers
  • arranged a photo shoot of all open coworking spaces, event spaces, and other rooms to advertise these photos to show the effectiveness and suitability of our coworking space
  • rebranded our web page with a new copy, and innovative design
  • improved subscription packages and conditions to satisfy our current and a new coworkers’ needs
  • improved our sales with new extended services, solutions, and equipment;
  • changed the sales strategy by narrowing down our desired user profiles;
  • increased community satisfaction with a new program that will engage more current and new coworkers in networking, education, and community empowering projects,
  • improved our presence and awareness with SEM tools such as SEO optimization, Google Ads display campaigns, content and copywriting, blogging, and e-mail marketing;

Our energy was fascinating and the results showed that my strategy was successful and that made me very happy. Moreover, the coworker’s feedbacks were encouraging. In the business, the client’s feedback means a lot, which gave us new energy to keep doing a great job and constantly innovate and improve current services and solutions.

After 10 months of working for the best coworking space in the country, it was time for new challenges. It was time for me to move to the CEO role in an IT security company.
